Pita-Ten: Manga vs. Anime
June 15, 2008
Those of you who have watched the Pita-Ten anime have been ripped off of a plot. I watched the few last episodes of the anime, just to see why everyone I’ve talked to hated it, and it was bad. Really bad.

Misha and Shia from the manga.
Okay, maybe it was a little cute, but definitely not what I was expecting, having read the manga. The manga’s appearance is rather deceiving because of the cuteness because the plot can depress a person. (The ending isn’t nearly as happy as the anime’s, trust me on that one.)
I know I’m not the first person to complain/rant about this, but this is my blog and I feel like doing so.
Anyway, if you’ve seen the anime, and were too repulsed to pick up the manga, just give the manga a second shot. In my opinion, it’s much better than Kamichama Karin (which has excessive shoujo-ness that is nearly gag-worthy, but rather good if that’s your type of manga, I suppose).
